
Launch Minnesota's Startup Showcase
The Launch Minnesota Startup Showcase offers local high-tech companies the opportunity to pitch their business to investors from across the country.
The Startup Showcase is not a competition. It’s an invite-only event for startups and investors to connect and learn about possible opportunities for investment. Up to 10 startups will be selected by Launch MN and its community partners to pitch at this event. Companies from any industry may apply.
Those interested in participating must meet the following requirements:
- Minnesota-based
- Actively raising Seed or Series A capital
- Strong pitch deck
The event is Thursday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. CST. If you are interested in participating, please send your pitch deck to launchminnesota@state.mn.us by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7.
Innovation Grants
Launch Minnesota will begin accepting applications for Innovation Grants on June 1.
Innovation Grants target the most promising innovative, scalable technology businesses in the state. Eligible startups may receive up to $35,000 to cover business expenses such as research and development, employee wages or technical assistance and services.
Since inception, Launch Minnesota has awarded $8.2M to 247 Minnesota businesses through Innovation Grants. More than 60% of these funds were for targeted businesses, which Launch Minnesota defines as companies that are women-owned, BIPOC-owned, veteran-owned, or located in Greater Minnesota.

 NASA Mashup Lab - May 22
Government officials, higher education institutions, corporations and entrepreneurs will gather at the Science Museum of Minnesota on May 22 for NASA Mashup Lab’s finale event. NASA’s Inclusive Innovation Mashup Lab initiative is a public-private partnership designed to accelerate technology commercialization to support the Minnesota ecosystem.
Program organizers invite Minnesota’s startup community to attend their upcoming event to learn how students and entrepreneurs are licensing technologies to start innovative new businesses.

Goldman Sachs Entrepreneur Training
Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program is coming to Minnesota. It has helped entrepreneurs across the country grow their businesses for over a decade by offering a free, practical business training program, access to capital and personalized support services. 10,000 Small Businesses is expanding to rural communities across the country. Applications are now open for the Minnesota cohort. Apply by June 21. The hybrid classes will begin in early October and end by December 20.

MNFounders
MNFounders is a community of startup founders and small business owners created to make friends, connect and grow Minnesota's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The group currently consists of more than 150 entrepreneurs who gather for bi-monthly social events like informal happy hours, cornhole and pickleball tournaments. MNFounders is now accepting new members.
