E1MN regional meetings help your local teams supporting transition-age youth with disabilities build the strong partnerships critical to person-centered transition supports and expand your knowledge and ability to apply the Minnesota Youth in Transition Framework.
When (choose one based on where you work):

Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Northern MN, Central MN, and Anoka and Ramsey counties.

Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Southern MN, Hennepin, Carver, Dakota, Scott, and Washington Counties.

Using My Vault to support people:
Check out My Vault on the Disability Hub website. My Vault is a resource for people with disabilities and the professionals who support them. It provides tools and activities to help people with disabilities explore their options, set goals and plan for the future. My Vault also allows you and the people you support to plan and share information in a secure way to make communication and collaboration easier for you and the people you support.

Scholarship for People with Disabilities
The 2024 Melvin & Sally Moody Scholarship is intended to assist people who have a disability who want to pursue education goals or gain technical expertise beyond high school. Rise Inc.
The Minnesota Transformation Initiative (MTI) has been working with waiver service providers across the state who have received grants to transform their business models to phase out the use of subminimum wages and expand their capacity to support people in reaching their competitive integrated employment goals. Watch the success story of Rise, Inc., one of those providers, who shifted from a center-based to a community-based employment model.

MIHEC Virtual Learning Community Event: College and Career Learning Inside and Outside the Classroom
College is an enormous growth opportunity in the lives of all students. Inclusive higher education initiatives for students with intellectual disabilities can promote this growth by supporting students to set and work toward meaningful college and career goals and gain related experiences. During this webinar, Dr. Kathryn Burke and a current Temple University student will describe, provide resources, and share student experiences from the Temple University Leadership and Career Studies four-year certificate program.
