August 15 - 21

  • Tuesday, August 16, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Online: Professional Leaders in Job Transition
    Go beyond looking at job boards and filling out employment applications with the support of this program. It uses an interactive platform that focuses on the job-search strategies and tactics.
  • Wednesday, August 17, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. In-Person: Midway Job Fair 
    Location:  Allianz Field, Parking Lot B, 400 Snelling Ave N., St Paul. Local employers will answer your questions about getting hired. Including: St. Paul Public Schools, Ramsey County, U.S. Postal Service, State of Minnesota, Resource MFG, Red Cross, and more! See link. 
  • Wednesday, August 17, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. On-Site Hiring Event with Anoka County  Location: CareerForce, 1201 89th Ave NE #235, Blaine. 10 employers: Lexington Manufacturing, Bankers Life and Casualty, Community Living Options, Entegris, FedEx Ground, Mains'l, MN Dept of Corrections, Rightway Homecare, Strive Staffing, Sure Cast Foundry.
  • Wednesday, August 17, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Online: Virtual Hiring Event
    Everyone is welcome at this virtual hiring event which features jobs in a variety of industries in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro. Join with a smart phone, tablet or computer. See link for list.
  • Thursday, August 18, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Online: Thursday Morning Job Club  
    Topic: Overcoming Discrimination. Seeking that good workplace that genuinely welcomes everyone and judges job candidates on the basis of individual merit. 
  • Thursday, August 18, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. In-Person: Get Back to Work Job Club
    Location: CareerForce, 602 East 4th Street, Chaska. This is an in-person event facilitated by Doug Muller, Recruiter for Entegris. Attendees drive the agenda and all are welcome!
  • Thursday, August 18, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. In-Person: CareerForce Bloomington Career Fair Location: CareerForce, 4220 West Old Shakopee Road, 2nd Floor, Bloomington.
    Ask questions during the employer panel and talk one-on-one too with local recuiters:

    In this structured roundtable, we will discuss attending career fairs: who should attend, the difference between a career and job fairs, how do I prepare? Pre-register to get the link.
  • Tuesday, August 23, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Online: Professional Leaders in Job Transition

  • Wednesday, August 24, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. In-Person: Washington County Career Fair
    Location: R.H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury. Employers include Amazon, Canvas Health, Equix, Fairview, Endeavor Air, South Washington County Schools and more!
  • Thursday, August 25, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Online: Thursday Morning Job Club
    Topic: Succeeding in a Hybrid Workplace. The state of work today, the benefits and challenges of hybrid work, setting yourself up for success. Presenter is Sarah Groskreutz, DEED HR.
  • Thursday, August 25, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. On-Site Hiring Event 55+
    Location: CareerForce, 1 Mendota Road W, West St. Paul. Meet with 30 employers onsite to learn of the job openings for ages 55+. See link for long list of companies!
