This class will introduce beginning users to the features of Microsoft Suite. It is highly recommended before taking classes in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Microsoft Word for Job Seekers
Prerequisite: Introduction to Microsoft Office class or at least 1 year experience using Word 2016 or higher.
In this class we will focus on the Word skills involved in formatting clean, professional cover letters and resumes. We will explore paragraph and line spacing settings, bullet points and columns, borders and shading, and tab stops. We will also learn about using appropriate font type and size, margins and orientation.

Connecting to Online Workshops
Metro East's virtual workshops will be held either via Zoom or Google MEET. Attendees will participate via internet access and the ability to stream video and audio is required to participate. Participants will be sent a link in the day or two ahead of the workshop. if you register less than 24 hours prior to the workshop, please email us so we can get the workshop link to you (susan.seyfarth@moundsviewschools.org).
