You can see a recording of our last webinar, which featured a great discussion of what we're hearing from career seeker and employer customers featuring Mark Jacobs from Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board, Marie Larson from City of Minneapolis Employment and Training and Vicki Leaderbrand from Rural Minnesota CEP.

The monthly What's New with CareerForce webinars occur the first Thursday of each month and are intended for CareerForce staff and partners throughout Minnesota.

Hidden Bias in the Workplace Resources

Bias in the Workplace Graphic

Make sure you check out and share with local employers the Hidden Bias in the Workplace resources on CareerForceMN.com

Workplace bias takes many forms, but the result is always the same—exclusion of members of the workforce from experiences and opportunities for which they are qualified. Biases prevent businesses from leveraging the talents and perspectives of all members of their workforce.

Regional Workforce Strategy Consultants are working with employers throughout Minnesota on identifying and addressing hidden biases. They've developed a series of articles to help employers take these important steps. You can see these blogs, videos and other resources here
