Opportunity+ focuses on preparing participants for work in Surveying and Construction Materials Testing.
With hard work, dedication, and consistent progress you can reach new heights:
- Labor Crew | Entry Level | $15+/hour
- Instrument Person | 2+ years of experience | $18+/hour
- Crew Chief | 7+ years of experience | $25+/hour
Program Overview
Location: CareerForce, Minneapolis North | 800 W Broadway Ave, Minneapolis Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and one Saturday per month Time: 5:30-8:30 pm during the week, Saturdays will vary but will be mid-day sessions Schedule: The program runs January through April Commitment: Participants must attend all sessions Program Partners: City of Minneapolis & CareerForce Center for Economic Inclusion

City of Minneapolis Employment and Training
City of Minneapolis Employment and Training administers a variety of employment and training programs under the direction of the Mayor, City Council, and Minneapolis Workforce Development Board. Our programs:

Minneapolis Works - Assistance finding a job for low-income, Minneapolis residents ages 18 and older.

WIOA Adult - Employment and training services to eligible adults 18 and over who are looking to gain skills and employment in healthcare, IT, manufacturing, construction or administrative services.

Minneapolis Youth Works - Assistance with high school completion, work preparation or employment goals for Minneapolis Youth ages 14-21.

Dislocated Worker Program - Comprehensive services for those who have lost their job through no fault of their own for adult ages 18 and older.
