CareerForce It's your state of success

We're almost there

It’s getting exciting. It’s getting real. And now, we’re just a month away from becoming CareerForce. Given the breadth and depth of our soon to be unified system, there’s still some work to do before November 30, 2018.

It’s very important that all staff and partners have a clear understanding of CareerForce. They need to know the roles they play and the responsibilities they have in support of a successful brand transition. They need to be well prepared for becoming enthusiastic brand stewards. To help make that happen, an aggressive month of staff and partner communications is being implemented. This includes an email blast campaign, webinars, e-letters, conference calls and presentations. Please stay tuned for upcoming details on these activities.

CareerForceMN.com is moving along quickly, too. This rich resource will have many exciting features designed to enhance success for customers, staff and partners. With a CareerForceMN.com account, users will be able to view, like and share content.

Career seekers will be able to take skills and interest assessments, view local labor market information and create their own career goals. And for the first time ever, they can save their results. Employers will have access to valuable recruitment, hiring and workforce development information. And with a user account, they’ll be able to present compelling ways to attract new talent.

We are revolutionizing the way we deliver information.

And wait until we show you our CareerForce Connections. This innovative tool will allow our customers to connect with us directly to request information about our services or more customized resources.

Can you tell we’re excited?

We've got several upcoming information and training sessions that we want to make you aware of.

First, we'll be offering a CareerForce 101 webinar to provide the basics on the CareerForce rebranding efforts.

CareerForce 101 Webinar – November 8th, 9-10 a.m.

In this CareerForce 101 webinar, you'll learn from speakers Jeremy Hanson Willis, Deputy Commissioner, DEED, and Anne Kilzer, Executive Director, MWCA:

  • Why the need to rebrand as CareerForce
  • What CareerForce means for staff, partners and customers
  • What to expect in the upcoming rollout of CareerForce and CareerForceMN.com

Watch for a calendar appointment with webinar call-in information coming soon.

Then, we want to give you a sneak peek of the new CareerForceMN.com. We’ll be providing both in-person (at the First National Bank Building) and online trainings on CareerForceMN.com on November 14-16, with two 90-minute training options:

Introduction to CareerForceMN.com–Learn the basics of what career seekers, employers and partners can do, and how they can interact, on the site. This is a great session for all CareerForce location staff and partners.
