Hennepin County Office
Specialist Training
This
6-week training will focus on further developing administrative skills for a
position as a Hennepin County Office Specialist. A two-week job shadow at
Hennepin County will provide hands-on experience in the Office Specialist role.
Interested candidates should have 1.5 years of previous office experience.
Class
runs August 21 - September 29, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 3 PM. The screening process for this program begins
June 5. To begin the application process, attend a 9 AM Monday morning
informational session at the PPL Learning Center (1925 Chicago Ave. in Minneapolis).

Free Food Safety Training
This
free program helps participants (17 years +) gain experience in a licensed
kitchen, Serve Safe certification, quality job references, and help finding a
job. Sessions are held monthly at Pillsbury United Communities’ Oak Park Center.

chance to earn college credit as well as earn a metalworking certification.
