MEC² PRO is now Accessed through LoginMN
In March 2026, DCYF changed the login process for MEC² PRO users to utilize LoginMN. Instead of using an assigned MEC² PRO login ID to login, users now use their email address to access the MEC² PRO application.
Having trouble logging in?
Try the following tips to login to the LoginMN application:
-
Make sure you are using the correct LoginMN link when logging in: LoginMN Partner App
- Tip: Bookmark this link so you can easily return to the correct LoginMN site to complete billing.
-
Use Chrome as your web browser and delete the browsing data.
- If your browsing data is not cleared, old passwords or sign-ins will autofill, causing error messages during sign-in.
-
Issues retrieving Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) codes.
-
If you have not yet registered your LoginMN account and you cannot retrieve your MFA code, contact the Provider Support team. Your LoginMN account may need to be reset.
-
If you have already registered your LoginMN account and you need to change which MFA method you have chosen, you can click on “Update Profile” in the upper right-hand corner of the LoginMN Partner App screen.
-
We recommend that providers choose the Phone/Text option when choosing an MFA method.
If you continue to have issues logging in:
Contact your Provider Support Team at 651-431-4848 or CCAP.Providers.DCYF@state.mn.us to submit a ticket to our LoginMN IT team.

Electronic Attendance and Enrollment Recordkeeping Update
On June 22, DCYF launched the first phase of the new electronic attendance requirement with 75 licensed child care centers across the state.
We continue to support providers participating in this initial rollout and are actively working with them as they continue submitting electronic attendance records. Many providers have successfully submitted electronic attendance records and found that the integrated Child Care Management System (CCMS) feature requires minimal changes to their attendance procedures while improving program integrity.
To help address questions from providers, we’ve updated the EngagementHQ FAQ with new information gathered during this first phase.
As we gather feedback from our first group of providers, DCYF will continue to use these insights to refine the process and improve future phases as the rollout expands statewide.
