The Early Childhood Longitudinal Data System (ECLDS) is preparing for several important updates to improve how users access and leverage early childhood data across Minnesota.
This spring, we’re laying the groundwork for an improved ECLDS experience, refreshing our data visualizations and transitioning our website to a new vendor. We are working hard to ensure that these changes do not lead to any disruption of your use of the system and will be providing multiple opportunities to provide feedback along the way. Here are a few changes on the way.
ECLDS changes for spring/summer of 2026:
- The new website is scheduled to go live on July 1. (The address will remain the same)
- Dashboard/reports will be created via Tableau, with the same look and feel, with some changed functionality
- Some dashboards/reports may not initially be available as the transition to Tableau continues throughout the summer (impacted dashboards/reports will be noted as such)
- Feedback forms will be provided throughout the website, for you to provide suggestions
- Additional opportunities to shape the future of ECLDS (e.g., surveys, focus groups, and/or listening sessions) will be shared throughout the summer
We’re excited to share these improvements with you and appreciate your partnership throughout the transition. More updates will arrive as we get closer to launch, along with opportunities to make your voice heard.
