2025 Implementation Plan for Family Child Care Licensing, Informational meeting

The 2025 Legislature made several changes that impact licensed family child care. The Department of Children, Youth, and Families has prepared an Implementation Plan for 2025 Legislative Changes to assist you in understanding the new legislation and how it impacts family child care.
DCYF is planning two upcoming family child care provider informational meetings. During the meetings we will discuss the 2025 Implementation Plan and potential family child care legislative ideas for the 2026 legislative session. If you have questions about the 2025 Implementation Plan, please submit them ahead of time to dcyf.fccproviderquestions@state.mn.us.
The DCYF Licensing Division will host webinars on Thursday, September 25th from 1:00-2:00 pm and Tuesday, September 30th 6:00-7:00 pm. The same information will be presented and discussed at each session. We value your time and input.
