Construction nearing an end on Cedar Avenue South

Construction update

CenterPoint Energy maintains a 14,000-mile pipeline system across Minnesota. the maintenance and modernization of this infrastructure is key to providing safe and reliable natural gas service to our valued communities.

 

A service crew has been working along Cedar Avenue South to replace and connect service lines to the new main and move indoor gas meters outside. The construction is expected to wrap up by the end of next week.

 

A few weeks after the completion of construction, a restoration crew will come on site to repair all impacted areas.

 

Hennepin County has ongoing pedestrian ramp and streetlight construction in the area. It is possible the County’s work will continue past the completion of gas work. For more information, click here.
