Construction Update

CenterPoint Energy is committed to providing safe and reliable natural gas service that makes life's moments possible. This effort includes maintenance and modernization of our infrastructure. The following is an update on construction efforts on Lowry Avenue NE.

Installation of modern natural gas main will continue on Lowry Avenue NE through the end of next week. Following the completion of construction on the main, service lines will be replaced and connected to the main in the road.

A road closure is in place along Lowry Avenue NE between Pierce Street and Ulysses Street. A detour is available and there is signage in place to direct traffic around the closure.

CenterPoint’s work will continue for a few more weeks. Please be aware that the road is being reconstructed by the county, and there is a significant construction presence unrelated to natural gas infrastructure.
