Construction update

CenterPoint Energy is committed to providing safe and reliable natural gas service that makes life's moments possible. This effort includes maintenance and modernization of our infrastructure. The following is an update on construction efforts in Cambridge.

This week and next, the utility crews will continue working along Main Street South on both the east and west sides of the road. For the time being, the crew will be seen moving up and down the length of the work zone on Main Street South.

Construction will begin on Fern Street South next week. Equipment is staged in that area at this time.

Both directions of traffic on Main Street South are reduced to a single lane of traffic. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
