Construction update
CenterPoint Energy is committed to providing safe and reliable natural gas service that makes life's moments possible. This effort includes maintenance and modernization of our infrastructure. The following is an update on construction efforts in Seward.
Installation of the modern natural gas main on Minnehaha Avenue, Cedar Avenue South and South 9th street was completed last week on April 19. As of today, any service line replacements and connections are complete as well.
In the coming weeks, crews will be on site to restore any areas impacted by the construction. Until then, temporary restoration may be seen on sidewalks, boulevards and in the roadway.
