What is the crews' progress?

Last week, the week of Nov. 4, construction crews installed the new natural gas main under the east side of Xenwood Avenue. This week, the natural gas main along W. 125^th Street will be replaced, and the new main will be installed on the south side of the road. Service line work is ongoing in the area – replacing and reconnecting services lines to the new main. We anticipate gas line construction to wrap up early next week, with restoration to follow.

Due to colder temperatures, lawns and sidewalks may receive temporary restoration for the winter months with the goal of higher quality repairs in the spring and summer of 2025. Visit our Restoration Practices webpage for more information.
