What is the crews' progress?
Gas main installation is complete in East Harriet. The authorized Michels Corporation crew for this natural gas main installation has moved offsite as of today, Oct. 28. The pipes used in this main replacement are more resistant to corrosion and leakage, helping us continue to provide the safe, reliable service you count on that keeps you comfortable in your home.
Service work persists in the area, moving north on Aldrich Avenue S following the completion of all services between 41st Street W. and 40th Street W. Service work includes moving inside meters outside by appointment and replacing and/or reconnecting service lines to the new main.
Restoration crews from Q3, a CenterPoint Energy authorized contractor, will follow behind service crews a few weeks after they complete their work. Check out our Restoration Practices webpage to see how we restore lawns, roads, sidewalks, and boulevards after our construction is finished.
