What is the crews’ progress? 

Beginning late this week, one crew from Michels Corporation, a CenterPoint Energy authorized contractor, will be working on a natural gas main that crosses East River Road between 62^nd Way NE. and 62 ½ Way NE.

Traffic impacts for this crew’s work include the closure of one lane on both the south and north bound sides of East River Road including the west bound right turn lane on to 62^nd Way NE. The closure will take place in the small section where crews are working, and one lane will remain open for both directions of traffic.

Another Michels crew, working on the same natural gas main, is currently at the intersection of 62^nd Way NE and Ashton Avenue NE. This crew intends to move west on 62^nd Way NE, towards the others in the area throughout the coming week. There are no traffic impacts associated with this crew’s construction at the moment.
