What work is being done in my neighborhood?

CenterPoint Energy is working within the Loring Park neighborhood to continue to provide safe, reliable service and to increase the resiliency of our system.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractors will be performing a service line replacement and meter move on a single address along West Grant Street between Willow Street and LaSalle Avenue. This work is expected to last through Friday, Oct.  25.

While work occurs, the following impacts are expected:

• Through traffic will be restricted on West Grant Street between Willow Street and LaSalle Avenue.
• Parking entrances will remain open while street parking on that block will be unavailable.
• Sidewalks will be open on both sides of West Grant Street.
• The bus stop for west bound transportation located at the intersection of LaSalle Avenue and West Grant Street will be closed for the duration of construction in the area.
