What is the crews' progress?

CenterPoint Energy is working within the Lowry Hill East neighborhood to continue to provide safe, reliable service and to increase the resiliency of our system.

As of today, October 14, CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractor, Michels Corporation, has completed the installation of a new gas main along Hennepin Avenue S. Crews are now beginning to replace and/or attach service lines to the new main as well as move inside meters outside by appointment.

Current traffic impacts include the closure of the north bound lane of Hennepin Avenue between 26^th Street W. and Emerson Avenue S. Within the next week, Hennepin Avenue’s south bound parking lane will be restricted as well.
