What will CenterPoint Energy do?

Beginning on October 7th, 2024, a crew from Michel’s Corporation, a CenterPoint Energy authorized contractor, will begin installing a natural gas main under the east sidewalk of West 36th Street between Lyndale Avenue South and Grand Avenue South. We anticipate this section to be complete after approximately a week. Services and restoration will follow the completion of this work

Parking will be restricted on the north and south side of West 36th Street between Lyndale Avenue South and Grand Avenue South. The north sidewalk will be closed along West 36th Street between Lyndale Avenue South and Grand Avenue South throughout the completion of this work.
