What will CenterPoint Energy do?

Starting later next week Michel's, a CenterPoint Energy's authorized contractor, will begin service work following the replacement of the gas main in your area. We estimate this work to take approximately 3 weeks, with restoration beginning a few weeks after the completion of services.

This service work will take place on the following roads:

• Willowood Drive from Woodland Road to Whited Avenue
• Wyngate Lane from Willowood Drive to 601 Wyngate Lane
• Fairwood Lane and Fairwood Drive at Willowood Drive
• Valewood Drive from Willowood Drive to 6017 Valewood Drive
• Whited Avenue from 5729 Whited Avenue to 6009 Whited Avenue
• Lake Rose Circle at Lake Rose Lane

Parking will remain closed on either side of the street.

Service work includes a technician making a two to three-hour appointment to move an inside meter outside. They will access the meter inside the house, move the meter outside, and relight the natural gas appliance pilot lights after the new meter has been relocated. Service work may also include connecting the service lines that run from homes to the main in the street.
