What will CenterPoint Energy's project entail?
From the week of June 8 to within August 2020, CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractors will perform work for CenterPoint Energy’s project. Crews from Michels Corporation, CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractor, will replace natural gas mains at the following intersections:
- 2nd Avenue N. and Lyndale Avenue W.
- 2nd Avenue N. and Aldrich Avenue N.
- Linden Avenue W. and 16th Street N.
Crews from Q3 Contracting will restore the areas affected by Michels Corporation’s work.
Except for an entrance into Xcel Energy’s gate, no other road closures are expected. Some lanes and parking will be restricted on the streets where active construction is occurring. These restrictions are necessary to keep both the public and construction personnel safe. Local access will be maintained.
