This Independence Day is especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of the United States. I feel incredibly grateful to live in the land of the free, and I am deeply proud to be an American. Today, we celebrate the enduring values of freedom, opportunity, and the strength of our country.

As we gather with family, friends and neighbors to enjoy the celebration, let’s also pause to honor the courageous men and women who have served, sacrificed and continue to protect the freedoms we cherish. Their dedication and selflessness have made our way of life possible, and we owe them our deepest gratitude.

I hope your holiday is filled with laughter, a strong sense of community, and great pride in our nation.
