Support Brooklyn Center Community Schools Family Resource Rooms
Support Brooklyn Center Community Schools (BCCS) families by donating essential home items, food, or monetary gifts. Contributions to BCCS Family Resource Rooms help provide personal care items, household supplies, clothing, and kids’ essentials, while food donations to CAPI ensure families receive fresh and shelf-stable groceries. Monetary donations to the Brooklyn’s Response & Recovery Fund and CAPI go directly toward meeting urgent family needs.
BCCS Family Resource Rooms at all school sites are open from Mondays to Fridays, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., for donation drop-offs.
CAPI coordinates food boxes for staff to deliver directly to Brooklyn Center families. To donate food supplies to CAPI, visit their Food Shelf location during the following hours:
- Drop Off Times: Tuesdays from 1-4 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.
- Drop Off Location: 6064 Shingle Creek Pkwy, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430
The Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth is continually coordinating resources available in the Brooklyns and the efforts of community partners through our Community Engagement Team (CET). This team of professionals and community members meets every first Tuesday of the month. To join the CET, please get in touch with Crixell Shell, and she will share meeting details!
