November 17 - 21 is Recycling Week

Yard Waste Site Closes November 30

Remember to have your recycling cart at the curb by 6:30 a.m. Crews have until 6:00 p.m. to finish collection. Make sure your cart is at least three feet away from any objects such as another cart or a mailbox. Place your cart in your driveway or on the boulevard with the handle facing away from the street. Do not put carts in the street.

Have material loose in your cart, never in bags. Plastic bags are thrown in the trash unopened at the sorting facility. Material in paper bags can get stuck inside during compaction on the truck. Meaning it can't be successfully separated at the sorting facility.

Yard Waste Site Closes for the Year on November 30

Keep your leaves out of the streets.

Once you rake them up, you can drop them off for free at the Maple Grove Yardwaste Site. You will need to empty leave out of your bags and take the bags with you. Bring proof of residency (driver's license, utility bill, etc.)
