This commission negotiates, adopts and enforces cable franchise agreements with cable television providers in the northwest suburbs.
No experience Is necessary to join the Northwest Suburbs Cable Communications Commission - only your commitment to building a strong, vibrant Brooklyn Park! All qualified voters who are residents of Brooklyn Park are eligible to participate.
Interviews will take place on November 24, 2025, during the City Council meeting.
Term: One year. No term limits.
Meets: Quarterly (February, May, September, November), third Thursday of the month, 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at CCX Studio.
Time commitment: About 1 to 2 hours per quarter.
