Stabbing Suspect Arrested with Help from Public

Brooklyn Park, MN – September 19, 2025 – With the assistance of the public, Brooklyn Park Police detectives have identified and arrested an adult male in connection with a stabbing that occurred on September 15, 2025.

On Monday, September 15, 2025, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 5800 block of Brookdale Drive. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple life-threatening stab wounds. The suspect, described as a Black male, had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The victim is expected to survive his injuries.

On Wednesday, September 17, the Brooklyn Park Police Department requested the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. The response was overwhelming, with numerous tips received in a short period of time.

Based on the information provided by the public, detectives obtained a search warrant and with the assistance of the Brooklyn Park SWAT team executed that search warrant on the morning of Friday, September 19 at approximately 5:40 a.m. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the Brooklyn Park Police Department Detention Facility.
