Join the Safe Community Camera Program!
Looking out for one another is what makes a business district stronger and we have an easy way to help protect your business and the surrounding community.
The Safe Community Camera Program is a crime prevention initiative from the Brooklyn Park Police Department. We're inviting local businesses to voluntarily register their external security cameras with us. By doing so, you'll help create a stronger partnership between the business community and the police.
If a crime happens in your area, knowing where cameras are located can help officers more quickly gather important information, like what happened, when, and who may have been involved. No footage is shared automatically, and your privacy is respected. You’re simply letting us know your camera exists so we can reach out only if needed.
No matter the type or brand, every camera counts in keeping Brooklyn Park safe. When we all work together, we create a safer, more connected community for customers, employees, and business owners.
Let’s watch out for each other, one camera at a time.
