Brooklyn Park Fire Department Responds to Aircraft Incident 

Brooklyn Park, MN – On March 29, 2025 at 12:22 PM, the Brooklyn Park Fire Department responded to 10792 Kyle Avenue for an aircraft incident. First-arriving units found the home fully involved in fire with exposures to the North and South. 

West Metro, Plymouth, Fridley, and Osseo fire departments provided mutual aid. The fire was brought under control in an hour, with no injuries to the occupants of the home or first responders. While it is currently unknown how many individuals were on board the aircraft, there were no survivors. The Red Cross was brought in to assist. The incident attracted media attention.

The City is working with Xcel Energy to restore power to affected neighborhoods. The target timeline to restore power is approximately 12:00AM (midnight).

No additional updates today; Federal agencies to provide briefing tomorrow

Federal agencies are expected to arrive onsite early on March 30, 2025, and will provide media with updates as they become available.
