Remember to have your cart at the curb by 6:30 a.m. Crews have until 6:00 p.m. to finish collection. Make sure your cart is at least three feet away from any objects such as another cart or a mailbox. Place your cart in your driveway or on the boulevard with the handle facing away from the street. Do not put carts in the street.

Sign up on the city's website for organics recycling service. Food scraps and non-recyclable papers such as napkins are the largest portion of our trash and can be collected and composted.

Starting March 31, the city’s recycling program will expand to include curbside collection of organics using a separate cart. At the same time garbage haulers will discontinue providing the service.

Sign up by March 10 to have your cart delivered the week of March 24. Sign ups after that will have carts delivered starting in mid-April.
