The City of Brooklyn Park has completed and submitted our water service line inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health.
This is an important step in ensuring safe drinking water for our community, and we’re committed to keeping you informed throughout this process.
You can now view the materials used for your service line through the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT), by visiting our Lead Free BP webpage, or by calling us at 763-493-8008.
About the inventory
To build the inventory, we combined a variety of resources, including records, engineering specifications, customer-reported data, and on-site visual inspections.
As of October 16, 2024, Brooklyn Park’s inventory includes 23,675 service lines, with 22,978 identified as non-lead. There are no lead service lines in our records, though 697 remain of unknown material status. We are actively working with property owners to verify these service lines.
