Closure to last through November

Temporary Closure of West River Road
The Rush Creek Regional Trail underpass project is underway near Mississippi Gateway Regional Park, and a temporary closure of West River Road will affect visits to the park from the north starting around September 16th and last through November.
The underpass project will provide a safe route for the regional trail under West River Road, connecting the East and West Units of the park. West River Road just north of the park entrance will be closed from September through most of November. The West Mississippi River and Rush Creek regional trails will also be detoured throughout construction of the underpass. The park will remain open and be accessible to vehicles from the south.
