Notice of Availability for the NorthPark Business Center Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) Update
Brooklyn Park, Minn. – As the Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU), the City of Brooklyn Park has prepared an Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) Update for the NorthPark Business Center development. The notice of document availability will be published in the EQB Monitor on February 13, 2024.
The NorthPark Business Center is located on approximately 227 acres of land south of 109th Avenue N, between US 169 and Winnetka Avenue N in Brooklyn Park. The development to date includes 13 industrial buildings have been developed or are under construction within the study area. The city is updating the AUAR and Mitigation Plan, originally adopted in 2018 per Minnesota Rules, part 4410.3610, subpart 7. An updated scenario, Scenario 2024-D, has been developed to reflect the existing and future development of the study area. The AUAR Update studies Scenario 2024-D, which includes 2,601,000 square feet of development that is existing, under construction, and remaining to be built.

The City will accept public comments on the AUAR Update through February 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM, directed to:
