Operations and Maintenance will begin flushing on Monday, April 25. Work is expected to complete by May 6.
Flushing is necessary to test the water flow and pressure. Flushing also removes sediment from the pipes in order to maintain eater clarity and quality in the distribution pipes.
If you see any discoloration, run your cold water tap for a few minutes until the water clears. It's safe to drink, but avoid washing clothes until the water clears.
Crews can start as early as 6:00 a.m. and may work until 5:30 p.m.
We apologize for any inconvenience and ask that parents remind their children to stay a safe distance back of the utility crews as they work.
