**ROAD CLOSURE Notification** 65th Avenue North between Brooklyn Boulevard (CR 152) and 150-feet west of Brooklyn Boulevard – TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2022 THROUGH FRIDAY, MAY 27, 2022
65th Avenue North between Brooklyn Boulevard (CR 152) and 150-feet west of Brooklyn Boulevard will be closed to traffic beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 and is anticipated to last until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022.
The purpose of this closure is to complete utility replacements as part of the Brooklyn Boulevard Reconstruction Project. The City of Brooklyn Center is leading this work, in coordination with Hennepin County.
The road closure may be lifted earlier depending upon weather and work progress. Below is a map of the road closure area and detour map.
Road construction projects can present challenges for residents, businesses and visitors in and around the project limits. Traffic controls are put in place for the safety of commuters and workers. Please use caution when travelling near the project work areas, stay alert for signs and follow the posted detour route.
