PROVISIONAL LICENSE & SW COMPACT
After hours of discussion in both committee and the September Board Meeting, the Board approved proposed changes to the Provisional License MN Statute 148D.
In addition, the Board approved pursuing the Social Work Licensure Compact.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE)
Continuing Education (CE) hours are required for social work licensure under Minnesota Statues section 148E.130. Licensees are required to complete CE hours even if you are not currently practicing; CE hours are an ongoing requirement. CE documentations must be kept for one year following a license renewal; licensees selected for an audit will submit copies of CE documentations to the Board of Social Work office.
