BOSW Continues Services During COVID-19

News Release: BOSW Services Continue During Governor Walz “Stay At Home Order” and COVID-19 Situation

• The Board office remains open, with limited staff in the office
• To help ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, customers, and community, board staff is implementing social distancing by teleworking
• There will be delays in response times, particularly phone inquiries, as staffing resources are changing due to the COVID-19 situation 
• Please conduct all business by using online services, email or US Mail
• Please do not drop off forms or applications in person at the office
• Forms and information are available on the BOSW website

CONTINUE USING ONLINE SERVICES TO:

• Verify a license

• Renew a license
• Apply for a license knowing there will be delays due to the COVID-19 situation:
  • Effective March 12 and until further notice, the Criminal Background Check Program (CBC) is suspending its LiveScan fingerprinting service, but will continue to receive and process fingerprints provided on the FD258 card
  • Effective until April 16, 2020 Pearson VUE owned test centers in all U.S. and Canada locations are suspending test delivery
