North Frontage Road construction begins soon
Crews will begin constructing the new North Frontage Road on the north side of Highway 10 between Anoka Technical College and Sunfish Lake Boulevard in the coming weeks. Access to businesses along the North Frontage Road will be maintained. Drivers from Highway 10 should use Thurston Avenue to the Main Street/Green Haven Road roundabout to the Highway 10 Service Road that runs along Anoka Technical College. This access will remain in place through fall.
This is very similar to what the permanent configuration will be once construction is complete this season.
 Ramsey Boulevard closed for 15 days in late August/early September
Ramsey Boulevard will close for 15 days between Riverdale Drive and Highway 10 while crews build the new eastbound and westbound lanes through the intersection. More details will be coming soon.
Ongoing activities near Sunfish Lake Boulevard
Storm sewer and utility work along Sunfish Lake Boulevard will be wrapping up over the next couple of weeks. Crews continue forming the base of the bridge on Sunfish Lake Boulevard, north of Highway 10. This work is anticipated to be completed in September.

Anoka County, MnDOT, and the City of Ramsey are working together to reconstruct and improve roads and bridges on Highway 10 between Armstrong Blvd. and Sunfish Lake Blvd. When complete, the new Highway 10 will improve traffic flow, decrease congestion, and increase safety.
