New Rule for CPR Requirement 

Effective February 14, 2022 several rules changed. Licensees are still required to complete and maintain CPR, and ACLS (if applicable) for licensure each biennial cycle. Hours for completion of CPR or ACLS courses can no longer be counted for professional development credit toward the required credit hours for licensees renewing after February 28, 2022. 

There are many free continuing education resources available on the internet. A free opioid course is available on the Board's website which is worth five fundamental credits once you complete and submit the survey. If you complete the Board course and submit, the system automatically records your participation. There is no need to obtain a printout of the opioid course completion. 

Minnesota regulated dental professionals are responsible for knowing and complying with requirements of the new rules. Click below to review:
