Update for Licensees: Stay at Home Order

Dear Licensees,

The Governor just issued a "Stay at Home " Order for two weeks, beginning this Friday March 27.

What does this mean to you as a citizen? See https://www.leg.state.mn.us/archive/execorders/20-20.pdf.

What does it mean to you as a healthcare worker?

Dental workers are healthcare workers.

  • This does not impact a dental patient's ability to continue to access dental emergency services.
  • It does not prevent dental workers from providing care for emergent dental needs.
  • It does not prevent allied dental workers from supporting the provision of care for emergent dental needs.

As always please reach out to me with questions. bridgett.anderson@state.mn.us

The extension on the closure for bars and restaurants does not have to do with dental services, so please consider the timeline information provided to you in our previous communications.

The Executive Order for postponement of non-emergent or elective medical and dental surgery and procedures remains in effect at this time and until April 13. The timeline was part of the state Peacetime Emergency Order.  We will continue to update on any changes here as they come.

Best,

Bridgett Anderson LDA, MBA

Executive Director
