Stop by Fare For All Wednesday, October 19, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Fare For All is a cooperative food buying program offering up to 40 percent savings on brand-name products. There are no qualifications or income restrictions.
Fare For All provides packages of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as frozen meat items. Pay with cash, credit, or EBT.
The Olmstead Plan Housing and Services sections provides a person with a disability the opportunity to be offered an "informed choice" to live in an integrated setting. People can choose where they live, with whom and in what type of housing. Supports and services are changing the way housing is providing and will allow sufficient flexibility to support individual's choice on where they live and how they engage in their communities.
Come listen to the history of the Olmstead Act, details on the Minnesota Olmstead Plan and hear from a panel of experts Tuesday, November 1, 6:30 p.m. This event is geared for persons with disabilities, their families, community members, and professionals.

Human Services will host a series of events and activities during the month of November to honor veterans and active duty military personnel.
Want to show your support? Help us honor our veterans with a month-long campaign to share our gratitude and thank them for their service. Upload a photo of yourself with a "thank you veterans" message or share your photos on social media with #ThanksVets2016.
Refresh your driving skills and perhaps qualify for lower insurance rates. October - December dates are available online for the AARP Smart Driver program.

Arm yourself against the flu this season. Human Services and Public Health host October flu shot clinics:

- Thursday, October 27, 5 - 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, October 31, 10:15 - 11:45 a.m.

Join health and wellness coach, Sally Miller for a 2-hour stress management workshop Thursday, October 13, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Designed to help you overcome the life challenges that have caused you stress and disease for months, years, or even decades, through the power of laughter.
Cost is $10. Registration required by Thursday, October 6. Space is limited.
Silver Sneakers® Flex offers two types of classes at Creekside Community Center:

Cardio and strength
Tuesdays, 9 - 10 a.m. Improve cardiovascular fitness, as well as maintain or increase bone density, flexibility, range of motion, muscle tone and coordination. Bring your own mat.

Strength and balance
Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 - 10 a.m. Exercise will be performed while holding onto a chair or sitting in a chair. This class combines light cardio and strength training for individuals who want to improve muscle tone, flexibility, range of motion, balance and coordination.
