2026-2028 Renewals Are Now Open |

The renewal window for licenses and certificates is now open. ALL licenses and certificates expire on June 30, 2026, regardless of the date issued. You must complete the required professional development hours (PDH) before you renew.
Renew now through Online Renewal Services - it's quick and easy. Have handy:
- your PDH hours;
- your license or certificate number;
- the last four digits of your ID number (for US citizens that's the last four of your social security number; for non US citizens, it's the last four of your ITIN); and
- your credit card information;
and you will be done renewing in just a few minutes.

When Can You Renew?
Starting: April 1, 2026 Deadline: June 30, 2026 Fee: $120* (plus $2.50 credit card processing fee) *When renewing by June 30.

Who Must Renew?
ALL licensee and certificate holders must renew. All 2026-2028 licenses and certificates expire on June 30, 2026, regardless of when in the biennium they were issued.

How to Renew?
Online: https://renewals.aelslagid.state.mn.us Enter your license number and the last four digits of your ID (SSN or ITIN, whichever you provided to the Board) to log in.
Anyone licensed prior to July 1, 2024, must earn and report 24 PDH earned between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2026* (or the date you renew, if earlier). Two of the 24 PDH must be in professional ethics.
*If you have carryover from the previous renewal period, you can apply up to 12 hours to this current period.
Ethics hours cannot be carried over; they must be earned between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2026 (or the date you renew, if earlier).
