Come see what all the craze is about...Bubble soccer starts April 24th or 28th at Drake Sports Park!

Bubble Soccer

 

Imagine playing soccer while wearing a mix between a giant hamster ball and an over-sized sumo suit!  This 5-on-5 league is a blast!  Leagues will have a 6 game minimum with a max of 8 people per team.  You must register your team by April 17th.   All participants must be over 21 years old.

Dates: Fridays: 4/24 - 6/12 (no games on 5/22), Tuesdays: 4/28 - 6/9

Time: Fridays: 6:30 -9:30 pm, Tuesdays: 6:30 - 8:00 pm (start times vary by week)

Location: Drake Sports Park

Cost: $375/Team

Join us for the free "Who's calling?" Frog Hike on April 10th!

7:30-8:30 pm at the West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve

As spring rains fill our wetland ponds, frogs are out and about in large numbers. Different frogs call at different times of the season and this fun, interactive walk will help you to learn the "when" and "whys" of Michigan's vocal amphibians. Join Friends of the Rouge out on the trail and learn just who is calling.

Featured Class of the Week: Wild Weekday Walk

Wild Weekday Walk

 

April 9th from 8:30 to 9:15 am at Sylvan Manor Park

Follow our naturalist to explore the West Bloomfield Trail. The walk will be about one mile on easy paths. You will make stops along the way to discover the flora and fauna. Participants will meet at Sylvan Manor Park.  This is a FREE program, but pre-registration is required.

Enjoy a morning at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. All seats are on the main floor within the first four rows of the stage. Cost includes round trip transportation to the Max M. Fisher Music Center and back to West Bloomfield. 

Golden Age of Broadway - April 10, 9:15 am - 2 pm
Broadway’s "Phantom" Doug LeBrecque returns home to Michigan with co-star Lisa Vroman for a concert of Broadway showstoppers. With songs by Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Lerner and Lowe, and more, audiences will be sure to leave cheering!
