Marshbank Music starts next Wednesday!
Series starts Wednesday, July 12 from 5:30-8:30 pm at Marshbank Park
Join us on the concert hill at Marshbank Park for an evening of exciting live entertainment. Each event features live music from some of Metro Detroit’s best bands and a variety of food trucks.

July 12: Collision Six-Favorites from the 60s-today
July 19: The Insiders-Tom Petty Tribute
July 26: Detroit Retro Society-Soul, Funk, R&B and more
August 2: Katmandu-Bob Seger Tribute
Food Trucks: Vedged Out! and The Great Greek Food Truck will be at each event as well as two additional trucks each week.

Nature at Night Single Day Nature Camp
Thursday, July 20 from 3-9 pm at the Recreation Activities Center, ages 8-14
We will make discoveries at dusk during a sunset hike. Campers will meet some nocturnal animals brought to us by special guests from the Leslie Science & Nature Center. Insect netting, stories, s’mores and more are what we will be doing on this nocturnal adventure!
This is a drop-off program and requires a camp waiver to be completed at registration.

CPR Certification for Youth
Saturday, July 29 from 1-4 pm at the Recreation Activities Center, ages 11-14
This course covers: injury prevention, babysitting emergencies, 9-1-1 calls, child and infant CPR and AED, how to help a choking child, water and playground safety. This is a great class for youth with younger siblings, those who babysit, or require certification for school activities. Upon completion, students will receive a Heartsaver K-12 certification card, valid for 2 years.

Amusement Park Engineering Camp
7/17-7/21 from 9 am-12 pm at Sheiko Elementary School, ages 6-12
Campers will design their own amusement park in this super fun program! They will learn how to use LEGO® bricks and other building materials to make coasters and other awesome rides.

Exercise Your Mind: What to know about Medicare
Thursday, July 13 from 12-1 pm at Connect, ages 50+
Join a Medicare Expert who will discuss hot topics related to Medicare that will help you understand your benefits and your options better. Sponsored by HAP.
This is a free program that includes a boxed lunch. Pre-registration is required.
