Discovery At Dusk
Friday, July 14 from 8-10 pm at The Recreation Activities Center, ages 5+
We will hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. We might be lucky enough to spot fireflies! After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register.

Open Studio Adult Art Camp
7/18-7/21 from 10 am-2 pm at Sheiko Elementary School, ages 18+
Join us for for this four day Open Studio art camp where anything goes. Finish started art projects, or create something new with an award-winning instructor. All mediums are welcome. Help will be individualized for each student. Students must provide their own supplies. Please bring your lunch.

Yang Family Tai Chi - Beginner
Saturdays, 7/1-8/12 from 9-10 am at Drake Sports Park, ages 18+
This style of Tai Chi is gentle and graceful, will help relax the mind and body, relieve stress and tension, develop balance, flexibility and muscle tone. Ms. Wang has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and to China to study with the world’s top masters and is a certified Senior Instructor in Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi.

Nailed It! Art Camp
7/11-7/14 from 1-4 pm at Marshbank Park, ages 5-12
This is the perfect camp to hone both your artistic side and your puzzle-solving skills. Just like on the popular TV show Nailed It!, We'll show you a final product and give you all the supplies needed to recreate it. Your challenges will include creating a unicorn cake sculpture that looks good enough to eat, painting a fox at sunset, a llama with a flower crown, and so much more.

Veterans Meet Up:
July Picnic
Wednesday, July 12 from 11 am-12 pm at Bloomer Park, ages 18+
Welcome all West Bloomfield and area veterans. Join other vets for our Veterans Meetup. Pre-register and enjoy each other’s company and swap stories.
Join us in July at the Bloomer Park Shelter for a summer picnic lunch, with choice of burger (beef, turkey or veggie) with a side salad, chips and watermelon.
Free for veterans; guests are $7/resident or $9/nonresident.
