Native Plant Sale Online Pre-order Opens
Sunday, May 14 at 7 am
As native plants are the building blocks of a healthy ecosystem, everything you can buy and plant improves the world we live in. A wide range of trees, shrubs and plants will be available to purchase on-line. There are limited quantities, so we encourage you to shop early! Plants for Ecology will donate a portion of the proceeds to our Nature Room to help further our mission of environmental education.

Community Garage Sale is this Saturday!
Saturday, May 13 from 8 am-2 pm in the Parking Lot of the Recreation Activities Center
Let’s reduce our community’s waste, shop local and repurpose items by shopping at WB Parks' Community Garage Sale! We will have nearly 50 sellers on-site outside of the Recreation Activities Center offering a wide variety of items for sale.
Please bring both forms of payment, cash and credit card.
Nature Room Open Hours will also be going on during the Community Garage Sale from 10 am-1 pm - stop on by!

Junior Scientist: All About Animals
Wednesdays, 5/24-6/14 from 5:30-6:30 pm at Marshbank Park, ages 4-6
Your little zoologists will examine the differences and similarities between insects and arachnids, study the frog life cycle, and build mammals and reptiles using Kid K'NEX® pieces. Your child will be too busy exploring the animal world to realize that they are gaining critical social, motor and developmental skills.

Tennis Clinics begin in two weeks!
Beginners - These clinics are for beginner through intermediate players. Clinic will focus on forehand, backhand, serves and volleys using drills, games and point situations. Register by age category at the links below.
Intermediate Adult - Clinic will focus on improving each intermediate players' skills. Player will decide the skills they need to work on for improvement during each session. Register here.
Advanced Adult - Clinic will focus improving skills and teach proper forehand, backhand, strategy and ball spin. Register here.

Lily Pad Springs Tickets now on sale
Lily Pad Springs officially opens for the season on May 26th! West Bloomfield residents can purchase admission 30 days in advance. Non-residents can purchase 15 days in advance. Pre-sale is available until noon the day before your planned visit. The cost is $4/resident or $7/nonresident per session. All adults and children (over 6 months old) entering the splash pad must purchase an admission.
