Marshbank Music kicks off July 14 with the Social Bandits

 

Join us on the concert hill at Marshbank Park for an evening of exciting live entertainment, featuring music from a variety of genres. Each concert features live music, food trucks and a beer/wine tent (provided by Lakeland Youth Baseball). Events run July 14, 21 and 28 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm.

Tuesdays, 6/22-7/20 from 7:45-8:45 pm, ages 18+

Bring your mat and meet at the top of the hill at Marshbank Park for a relaxing sunset yoga practice. No yoga experience necessary. You can register for the whole session or individual classes for $12 each.

Thursday, July 8 from 7-8:30 pm at Marshbank Park, ages 8+

Discover the fun of kayaking on scenic Cass Lake during this all ages family paddle. Upon arrival, receive a brief lesson on how to successfully enter, exit and paddle a kayak. Our Naturalist will accompany you as your own personal guide. Fee is per person. All equipment is provided, including life jackets. Select single or double kayak at registration.

Veterans Meetup Photo Shoot and Lunch - Free!

Wednesday, July 14 from 11 am-12 pm, outside of the Recreation Activities Center

Our July Veterans Meetup will feature a boxed lunch from Lee’s Famous Chicken in Plymouth. A perfect summer picnic, complete with fried chicken, cole slaw, baked beans and a biscuit served in-person, socially-distanced under the tent in the back of the Recreation Activities Center. As a special treat, professional photographer, Adriane Kohn will join us to take keepsake photos of our Veterans, as well as their spouse or guest. 


Two – three digital images will be emailed to you and will be yours to keep. Select one image and WB Parks will provide one - 8 x 10 inch print, to be picked up curbside at Connect. This program is sponsored by the Marvin & Betty Danto Health Care Center.
