Pre-sale for Lily Pad Springs starts Monday!

 

Current MDHHS COVID-19 guidelines preclude us from opening to the general public until the current Gatherings and Face Mask Order is lifted on May 24, therefore we have made some modifications to our opening schedule.  Pre-sale admission will still begin Monday, May 3rd.  However, May dates will be unavailable for pre-sale.  The first day of operations will be June 1 (instead of the previously planned 5/27).  Waitlists are available for May 27-31 sessions.

Please watch our email blasts if/when we can release the earlier dates and to confirm our first day of operation.  In the event we cannot open June 1, full refunds will be issued.

 

Lily Pad Springs is located at 6200 Farmington Rd., West Bloomfield 48322

Session hours are as follows, seven days a week:

(3) Sessions: 11:00am – 1:00pm (West Bloomfield residents only), 1:30pm – 3:30pm, 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Session Admission Information:

The cost is $4/resident or $6/nonresident per session. The 11am pre-sale is limited to West Bloomfield residents only.  Any person entering the splash pad must purchase an admission. 

​Lily Pad Springs is the largest splash pad in Michigan with 5500 square feet of watery fun and includes:

  • Fun for children of all ages
  • Over 50 play features
  • 4 water slides
  • Splash bucket that dumps 55 gallons of water
  • 2,400 sq. ft. custom climbable structure
  • Shaded areas
  • Restrooms
  • Pumps 740 gallons per minute of treated water with 6000 gallons circulating through the whole system

May Kids Komotion Concert

 

Thursday, May 13 at 6 pm at Marshbank Park

Pack a blanket and gather the children to join us on the concert hill at Marshbank Park for this year's offerings of children's entertainment. Every child will receive a musical instrument to use and take home.

Pre-registration strongly suggested. Capacity is limited to current MDHHS outdoor gathering restrictions. 

Every person attending the concert must register. We will allow unregistered cars in 15 minutes after the event start time, if space exists for $5/person.

The West Bloomfield Optimist Club will be on site selling pre-packaged snacks and refreshments.

​Cost is $2/resident or $5/nonresident.

Canine Good Citizen

 

Thursdays, 5/6-6/17 from 7:00-8:15 pm at various locations, ages 18+

The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is part of the AKC Family Dog Program. It is a gold standard for dog owners to choose taking the CGC as their first step in training their dog to have a foundation of polite behaviors while out in the community. This class is designed for dogs who are 6 months and older and have already taken beginner level obedience.

We will teach you the behaviors that your dog needs to perform in order to receive the CGC award. The CGC test will be given at the end for those that wish to take it. The class locations will vary between Premier Pet Supplies/ Orchard Mall (Masks Required), Drake Sports Park, and Marshbank Park.

Outdoor Chair Yoga - New!

Thursdays, 5/6-6/3 from 1-2 pm, behind the Recreation Activities Center under a large tent

Move yourself to greater health and well-being through a gentle, chair practice. Focus on the therapeutic benefits of yoga for both body and mind. Improve your balance, strength, flexibility and mobility with this gentle seated class. Attention to breath work and meditation are included in this mind-body practice. The class is tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Our instructor, Julie is a certified yoga therapist and certified in teaching yoga to seniors. Pre-paid individual classes available for $15.
