2021 Summer Camp Guide
West Bloomfield Parks has been a trusted provider of family-fun for 50 years. Allow us to teach, inspire and cultivate your child’s sense of adventure with one of our traditional summer day camps.
WB Parks will open camp registration on April 19. All camps will take place outside for the 2021 camp season. COVID-19 guidelines will once again be in place. These changes have been made as safety is everyone’s top priority while maintaining a great camp experience for our campers. Detroit Tigers Opening Day at Connect
Thursday, April 1 from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm at Connect, ages 50+
Come cheer on the boys of summer at Connect! Come dressed as the ultimate Tigers Fan as prizes will be awarded. Tiger’s Trivia will be played to test your knowledge. A hot dog, peanuts, cracker jacks and a soft drink (to-go) will be provided. Registration deadline is noon on March 30.

Join the Nutty Scientist for weekly Outdoor Adventures
Tuesdays, 3/23-4/27 from 5:30-6:30 pm, ages 5-11
The Nutty Scientists are offering interactive and engaging programs that aren’t simply a “Science Class” over Zoom!
Who knew there was so much adventure just in your backyard? The program includes a supply kit with all the supplies necessary to complete the weekly activities, written and video instruction for all activities and a weekly Zoom meeting.
Weekly Adventures Include:
- Foraging and Nature Journals - Sun Dials - Knots - Shelters - DIY Water Filters - Solar Ovens

Spring Break Soccer Camps
Weather makeups will be held the Saturday following the last day of camp at 9 am.
TinyTykes
3/29-4/2, daily from 9-10 am at Marshbank Park, ages 2-5
TinyTykes is an exciting program that teaches basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills and teamwork. Participants will receive a t-shirt and ball. The professional, licensed coaches will ensure your child has a positive soccer experience! Cleats and shin guards are optional. Weather makeups will be held the Saturday following the last day of camp at 9 am.
International Soccer
Challenger International Soccer Camps (staffed by coaches from Europe, Brazil and the U.S.) teach a fun, technical, and tactical based curriculum, revolving around five of the world’s leading soccer nations: Brazil, France, Spain, UK and the US. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages and a daily tournament. Participants will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt and an individualized evaluation from their coach at the end of camp.
Ages 6-9
3/29-4/2, daily from 12:30-3:30 pm at Marshbank Park
Ages 10-14
